Technical Product Owner

This is what we expect of you:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product alignment with business needs.
• Translate business requirements into high-level diagrams and flows.
• Work closely with UX teams, architects, and technical leads.
• Validate early prototypes and provide continuous feedback during development.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners, ensuring effective communication and proactive action-taking.
• Oversee the handover to the operations team and track documentation.
• Propose product roadmap features (> 3 months) and manage short-term backlogs (< 3 months).
• Work alongside development teams to ensure production-ready releases.
• Prioritise the backlog, in agreement with the Product Manager
• Write the technical specifications: divide features into User Stories & Cases (US), to guarantee the needs are properly implemented in the product.

Do you have experience in XML?, * Passion for the Accounts Payable/Receivable and Documents industry.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the domain, within e-invoicing or accounting.
• Experience working with development teams.
• Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
• Hands-on mentality and ownership of tasks. You like to take initiative!
• Effective verbal and written communication (English/Dutch; French is a plus)
• You are a natural leader and you have strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Experience with translating requirements into rules related to e-invoicing formats to be implemented by the development teams
• Be able to dive in to (government) specifications around e-invoicing ranging from file formats, apis and protocols and extract what needs to be done to get to a compliant solution
• Be able to bridge the gap between functional requirements and technological realities to find pragmatic solutions
• Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Sheets, Draw, XML Spy, Postman, Aha, Jira etc.
