Our client is a fast-growing, independent consultancy specialising in delivering business and technical solutions to both top-tier and boutique investment firms. Since its founding in 2011, the company has built a strong international presence, supporting a diverse client base across Western Europe and North America. They are now seeking an experienced IT Operations and Cyber Security Manager to join their team and play a key role in strengthening their operational resilience and advancing their internal cyber security strategy. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of and evolve an organisation's internal IT operations and cyber security capability. As the primary point of responsibility for the internal technology environment, you will lead the development of a secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure while ensuring robust cyber security controls are in place across the business. In this role, you will work across IT operations and infrastructure management, cyber security and risk mitigation, and governance and compliance. You will also manage third-party vendors and key stakeholders, while coordinating initiatives across a global footprint to ensure consistency, performance, and security standards are maintained. Requirements
- Several years of experience in IT operations and/or information security roles.
- Experience working with or overseeing third-party IT service providers.
- Strong knowledge of modern workplace and cloud technologies, including identity services, endpoint management, and threat detection/response solutions.
- Familiarity with industry-standard information security frameworks and best practices (ISO 27001).
- Experience handling security incidents and addressing system vulnerabilities.
- Ability to combine hands-on technical responsibilities with governance and compliance oversight.
