Job description
- Provide tier III technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software, and hardware
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues raised by senior leadership
- Act as first point of contact for ticket escalation
- Train and mentor junior IT Technicians
- Participate in configuration, installation, imaging, and testing of software and hardware on corporate computing platforms
- Administer various programs such as Microsoft 365, Door Access, Sophos, Okta, etc.
- Participate in maintenance of the current solutions which govern desktop and laptop hardware-software standards and configurations
- Oversee helpdesk operations and monitor tickets
- Complete inventory and IT asset management (workstations, printers, phones, etc.)
- Assign IT deployments
- Oversee computer re-imaging and company mobile device management
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Understand the ever-changing GR&F IT environment to build a strong basis of knowledge of systems and infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System, as well as current Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with all office equipment - including printers, fax machines, video, and networking equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with being an escalation point of contact
Supervisory Responsibility: None; Informal supervision and training of Level I and Level II Technicians
Work Environment and Physical Demands: This job operates in an office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, etc.). The physical activity of this position could include stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Members of the IT team are issued a firm cell phone. A separate signed agreement is required which details the appropriate uses of the cell phone outside of normal working hours and reporting time worked.
Position Type: Full-Time
Travel: Occasional travel may be necessary for special projects. Technicians may rotate between local offices on a weekly basis.
Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of corporate IT experience
Preferred Education and Experience: A+ or Computer+ Certification and 3+ years of corporate IT experience
