This opportunity is for a role in Financial Services.
As an Associate Director in the team, you will work closely with Directors and Partners to play a key role in making a difference by influencing and shaping the strategic development of the team. You will also leverage your commercial experience to build and develop significant new business opportunities for the Firm, focusing on developing senior client relationships within Human Capital and our Financial services teams. In doing so, you will build a level of eminence in the marketplace that provides a platform to support the Firm's growth ambitions over the long term. You will build high-performing teams around you to support these growth plans.
To be successful in this role, you will be a subject matter expert leading multiple, high-profile projects and bids while developing innovative thought leadership. You will have the opportunity to learn from the best in the business and help recruit top talent.
The technical nature of your Organisation and Workforce design responsibilities is expected to include:
- Lead AI-Driven Transformation Projects: Manage large-scale, complex technology and transformation initiatives for Financial Services clients, focusing on organisation design and workforce transformation in the context of AI and emerging technologies.
- Architect Future-Ready Organisations: Reimagine how organisations, teams, and ecosystems collaborate, leveraging AI to enhance productivity, engagement, and performance.
- Deliver Data-Driven Insights: Utilise workforce analytics and AI tools to provide actionable insights that enable high-performing and agile workforces.
- Shape Workforce Strategies: Design future-ready services and operating models that integrate AI and digital technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Drive Change: Embed human-centred approaches to transformation, ensuring adoption of AI and other technologies through effective change management strategies.
- Develop Thought Leadership: Provide clients with innovative perspectives on AI, robotics, cognitive technologies, and the future of work, positioning Deloitte as a leader in workforce transformation.
- Mentor and Lead Teams: Build and manage high-performing, multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, and excellence.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in AI and workforce transformation to build strong client relationships and drive growth.
Requirements
Overall, your experience should include contributing to large-scale organisation transformation programmes, ideally using traditional and/or agile methodologies with a "digital product and technology enabled" focus.
- AI Expertise: A deep understanding of AI, robotics, and cognitive technologies, and their implications for workforce transformation in Financial Services.
- Industry Knowledge: Substantial experience in Banking, Insurance, or Investment and Wealth Management', with a strong grasp of industry trends, challenges, and regulatory dynamics.
- Transformation Leadership: Proven experience leading large-scale organisation transformation programmes, with a focus on digital and AI-enabled solutions.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyse complex problems, develop data-driven solutions, and translate strategic objectives into actionable workforce strategies.
- Innovative Mindset: A passion for exploring new ideas and technologies, with a track record of driving innovation in workforce and organisational design.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage diverse client scenarios.
- Team Leadership: Experience in building, coaching, and leading high-performing teams, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.
- Experience of understanding and articulating the impact of emerging technology trends such as AI, robotics, digital reality, cognitive technologies, and blockchain.
- Ability to manage complex and diverse client scenarios, focusing on high quality and delivery through others, even in high-pressure, time-critical situations.
- A proven track record in account development, business and relationship development, and the ability to identify and act upon opportunities to build and develop Deloitte's practice footprint, including commercial and financial management of projects.
- Acute awareness of risk management and managing risks associated with people, processes, systems, change, and commercials.
- Proven experience designing work, roles, and organisations for functions within Financial Services - This could include experience with Digital Transformation initiatives, Mergers and Acquisitions, or new operating models in areas such as Banking, Asset Management, or Insurance.
- Knowledge of effectively implementing end-to-end organisational transformation - connecting data-driven design into new business reality.
