Job description
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading food production business who are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Technical Support Manager to join their operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of technical work, data analysis, on-site support and customer interaction.
You'll play a key role in supporting breeding operations, monitoring performance, managing technical queries and helping to drive continuous improvement across the business.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the technical support desk, responding to queries, analysing data and coordinating technical assistance
- Supporting the operation and management of multiple production sites
- Monitoring performance data and maintaining internal databases
- Producing technical publications, manuals, information sheets and content for internal/external use
- Hosting and coordinating technical visits, including presenting at seminars (UK and overseas)
- Working closely with R&D and Genetics teams on ongoing projects
- Ensuring compliance with biosecurity, health & safety and company standards
- Developing your own technical knowledge through ongoing training
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Strong technical mindset with the ability to analyse data and communicate findings clearly
- Confident communicator
- Someone who enjoys a varied role with a mix of office, site and customer-facing work
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas
- A proactive, curious individual who enjoys learning and developing new skills
