Meta operates one of the largest and fastest growing global network infrastructure. The Network Site Investments team is accountable and responsible for ensuring the site underpinnings of Meta's global network stays ahead of unprecedented AI & organic network MW demand.Seeking highly skilled Site Selection professionals to join our growing team. The Network Site Investment Manager establishes and executes the necessary site acquisition strategies, develops best-in-class datacenter partnerships, and ensures the needed optionality to adapt to cutting edge technology roadmaps. This role requires occasional pre-planned domestic and international travel., * Drive site acquisition from strategy formation to on time capacity delivery
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements with datacenter operators and developers
- Conduct market level research to identify and down select viable options
- Own the business relationship with providers to ensure long term strategic partnerships
- Maintain existing colocation base while driving new greenfield builds
- Create financial forecasts
- Partner with Network Infrastructure teams to stay ahead of demand and technology roadmaps
- Leverage AI tools to eliminate manual overhead
Requirements
Do you have experience in Computer networking?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Business related discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in the network and/or datacenter industry with direct work in site selection
- Experience across various commercial models from license to lease
- Acquisition experience across colocation facilities, hyperscale campuses and green field developments, * Growing proficiency in leveraging AI tools to minimize manual workflow overhead
- Understanding of terrestrial and subsea network architectures
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the network and/or datacenter industry
- 4+ years of datacenter site selection experience working on multi-MW agreements
