Job description
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our client's team in Zurich.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Take full ownership of 1st and 2nd level support for the platform and applications
- Partner directly with Front Office traders, providing fast and effective solutions
- Maintain system stability and availability, handling day-to-day operational issues
- Coordinate and support production releases to ensure smooth deployments
- Investigate incidents thoroughly and drive them to resolution
- Identify recurring issues and proactively improve systems and processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, engineering- ideally in a financial environment
- Strong knowledge of Securities Lending & Borrowing systems (FIS SFTC)
- Hands-on experience with SQL, databases, Unix/Linux, and Scripting
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
