IT Technician

IT Technician required. My client is a global company with its main office based in the UK. They are an integrated stock control and accounting software designed for retail, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution companies in a multitude of industries. Their mission is to improve stock control and accounting for growing companies with smaller budgets. They are a modern company which keeps its customers at the forefront of technology and they have assembled a dedicated team who are constantly making new and exciting ways of keeping Encore innovative and ahead of their competitors., * General IT Support

• Covering networks
• Setting up, installing & configuring all things windows and Microsoft.
• Setting permissions for clients and supporting any issues
• Understanding the Azure platform and gradually getting more involved with building and configuring servers on Azure.
• Working with their customer success team to move our customers from their onsite servers to our Azure servers.
• Helping set up untested devices such as barcode readers, label printers etc.
• Reporting to the Technical Director

• 2-3 years in a similar role
• However, will accept graduates who are quick-learners and very keen to learn
• Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft
• Networking knowledge
• Knowledge of Azure servers - Desirable
• Knowledge in installing / configuring hardware/software
• Can work part of a team and individually
• Great communication skills

Position Remuneration

• Monday to Friday
• £22,000 - £26,000
• 25 days holiday including bank holidays
