Design Engineer

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training and experience
• 3D CAD modelling and detail drafting experience (ideally SolidWorks)
• Able to manage a project, from client enquiry through to final desig and meet associated deadlines.
• Have the ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve.
• Have recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Be very experienced in 3D SolidWorks, covering fabrications, rotating parts, sheet metal and welded components/fabrications.
• Able to carry out detailed 3D designs of mechanical part using SolidWorks.
• Understand basic fabrication processes from a design perspective.

The roles are permanent and will pay £55,000 per annum. You will be working for a well-known manufacturing company, with a number of manufacturing sites, and in a purpose built design office.
