Integration Engineer

The Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and support of enterprise integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.

Working within a Microsoft/Azure environment, the role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and modern integration patterns, including API-led architecture, microservices, and event-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end integration solutions across applications, services, and data platforms
• Ensure system interoperability, scalability, and reliable data exchange
• Drive adoption of modern integration patterns (API-first, microservices, event-driven, pub/sub)
• Develop secure, high-quality solutions using Azure services and .NET technologies
• Contribute to integration architecture strategy and platform life cycle management

Core Activities

• Build and maintain APIs, services, and integration components
• Work with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid)
• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and AKS deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, engineering, and delivery
• Promote best practice integration patterns and standards

Technical:

• Strong development experience in .NET (C#) building APIs and services
• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, APIM, Service Bus, Event Grid)
• Good understanding of microservices, Docker, AKS, and CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of integration patterns and messaging formats (JSON, XML, Avro)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Understanding of security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, TLS)
