Job description
The Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and support of enterprise integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
Working within a Microsoft/Azure environment, the role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and modern integration patterns, including API-led architecture, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end integration solutions across applications, services, and data platforms
- Ensure system interoperability, scalability, and reliable data exchange
- Drive adoption of modern integration patterns (API-first, microservices, event-driven, pub/sub)
- Develop secure, high-quality solutions using Azure services and .NET technologies
- Contribute to integration architecture strategy and platform life cycle management
Core Activities
- Build and maintain APIs, services, and integration components
- Work with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid)
- Support CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and AKS deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, engineering, and delivery
- Promote best practice integration patterns and standards
Requirements
Technical:
- Strong development experience in .NET (C#) building APIs and services
- Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, APIM, Service Bus, Event Grid)
- Good understanding of microservices, Docker, AKS, and CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of integration patterns and messaging formats (JSON, XML, Avro)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Understanding of security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, TLS)
