Job description

We're looking for a Document Controller to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects nationwide, including with major clients like National Grid.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our PMO Information Management team, ensuring the smooth and secure flow of project data and documentation within a common data environment. Your work will be essential to maintaining high standards of information management, enabling efficient project delivery and ensuring compliance with both industry and company protocols.

In addition the above you will also have responsibility for:

  • Managing the Master Information Delivery Plan and approvals process within SharePoint and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Ensuring project documentation is accurate, accessible, and up to date
  • Maintaining strict control over sensitive and confidential data, including legal privilege, GDPR compliance, and price-sensitive information
  • Supporting Freedom of Information requests by ensuring proper data accessibility

Requirements

  • Proven experience in document control, with strong administrative and technical capabilities including Sharepoint expertise (including site structure, navigation management, permissions & access controls and automation and workflows) and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) experience (including reviews & approval management, transmittal control and distribution and metadata and attribute administration).
  • Proficiency in document management systems and electronic transmittals
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650-2 and experience working in a BIM-enabled environment
  • Understanding of engineering and construction disciplines or experience in project delivery settings
  • Strong IT skills, including Adobe Acrobat and MS365 tools (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to adapt to new systems and challenges
