Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Administrator to support a large-scale environmental compliance programme. This role will focus on reviewing environmental permits, validating data held in internal systems, and supporting a structured process.

This is a key role within an established workstream, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, process adherence, and regulatory compliance., * Review and verify environmental permits against data stored in internal systems

  • Perform detailed cross-checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Collect, organise, and maintain environmental and compliance data
  • Review evidence packs submitted by internal teams to support permit surrender applications
  • Validate that all required documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Support the submission of permit surrender packs to the relevant regulator
  • Work in line with a newly developed process for permit surrender approvals across multiple sites
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date records and supporting compliance reporting, You will be supporting a defined programme of work focused on surrendering environmental permits for assets that are no longer in operation. A new approval process has recently been implemented, and there is approximately 12 months of work to deliver using this framework.

The role involves working through high volumes of evidence packs, ensuring all submitted data is accurate before progressing to regulator submission.

  • Experience working with large volumes of data in an administrative or compliance role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong document review and validation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working with internal systems
  • Ability to interpret regulatory or compliance-related documentation
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage structured processes
