Digital Business Analyst API & Process Design London (Hybrid) Albany Beck is looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join an exciting transformation programme within a leading Investment Bank. The role sits at the intersection of technology, process design, and customer experience, supporting the delivery of innovative, API-driven digital solutions. As a Digital Business Analyst, youll work across product, engineering, and design teams to ensure digital journeys are intuitive, efficient, and seamlessly integrated. Youll translate complex system interactions into clear, actionable requirements ensuring every API connection, data field, and process flow delivers value to the end user. Partner with technical teams to understand API capabilities and dependencies, defining how data fields connect between user interfaces and system payloads. Analyse existing digital processes and design future-state workflows that optimise performance, reduce friction, and enable automation. Document

process flows, data mappings, validation rules, and exception handling to ensure end-to-end visibility. Collaborate with UX and product teams to design user journeys and capture screens that align with API structures and data requirements. Communicate technical impacts, risks, and dependencies clearly to product owners and delivery leads. Proven experience as a Digital or Technical Business Analyst, ideally within API-led or platform-based projects. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, data schemas, and system integrations. Experience creating process maps, workflow documentation, and data flow diagrams. Ability to translate technical detail into clear business logic and requirements. Comfortable working in agile delivery environments with cross-functional teams.
