IT Manager

We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and conscientious IT Manager to lead our IT team covering our three locations across Bootle, Daresbury and Deeside. The job holder will be integral in leading the implementation of the company's technical architecture, enhanced business process implementation, cyber essentials plus accreditation and to support cost effective business applications, systems and processes. The successful candidate should be willing to actively engage and contribute their technical knowledge, to aid the IT function in achieving continuous high-level performance across all sites., · Implementation, management and monitoring of IT projects and tasks in line with company costs and deadlines.

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in VBA?, · Experience of identifying and implementing company wide business process improvements.

· Experience of contributing to comprehensive IT support from front line enquiries to more complex considerations.

· Regular maintenance of hardware and software in line with manufacturers, budget and cost.

· Experience of IT operational prudence in safeguarding assets and data.

· Ensuring IT systems and networks are secure and free from risk and in line with data protection, GDPR requirements and legal compliance.

· Experience of development of the MIS technical requirements of the Company.

· Experience of management and maintenance of a Company's internal / external network.

· Experience of managing a small team including HR process and development.

· Experience of management of IT service contracts, maintaining a cost-effective approach.

· Experience of working alongside IT functions in other countries an advantage, to encourage best practice.

· Experience of leading / providing secure/reliable/accurate e-trading facilities.

In addition to the specified duties the IT Manager is expected to perform additional tasks that the company may require.

THE PERSON

· Formal IT qualification in IT or IS essential.

· Experience in a Senior role within a manufacturing or commercial environment across multiple sites.

· Experience of compliance regulations and how it relates to IT, such as ISO13485 and ISO9001

· Experience of ISO27001 an advantage.

· Proven experience of managing a team.

· Experience of training users in new application use.

· Excellent skills in leadership, communication and stakeholder management.

· Experience of presenting IT reports to senior level management.

· Experience of using Windows, Windows server platforms, Hyper - V and Microsoft technology stack, Excel with VBA, SQL Proficient in ERP systems and data analytical tools.

· Must hold full driving licence as there is a requirement to travel between the UK sites., * Senior IT Manager: 2 years (required)
