Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated EPR Programme Benefits Lead to join our IM&T team. This pivotal role will support the Trustwide Electronic Patient Record (EPR) procurement exercise and the Digital First Programme, ensuring that benefits are clearly defined, tracked, and realised to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping digital transformation within Wye Valley NHS Trust, ensuring technology delivers real benefits for patients and staff., As the Benefits Lead, you will:

  • Lead benefits management activities for EPR procurement and Digital First initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain benefits realisation plans
  • Analyse and interpret data to produce meaningful benefits reports and evidence of progress.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure benefits align with frontline needs and deliver measurable improvements in patient outcomes, staff experience, and service efficiency.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor, providing guidance on benefits management across multiple workstreams.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in IM&T or equivalent NHS experience.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits/change management, business process redesign, and project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within challenging timescales.
