Front-end Solution Architect

As Front-end Architect within the Global Web & eCommerce team, you are an integral part of a scaled agile team in an exciting international environment that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

• Investigate technical optimizations, synergies, automation (ex: through AI), and technical depth / debt reduction potential
• Coordinate processes, decisions and patterns of development across seven development teams (ex: facilitate architectural decision records ADRs)
• Evaluates FE technical concepts and technologies for feasibility and fit-check into the system landscape (POCs, technology review, critical analysis)
• Guide project practices on web performance and review development standards with teams, focusing on benchmarking and metrics
• Steer & consult project practices, review web performance, development practices with the teams, starting from benchmarking, metrics definitions etc

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor/Master in computer science or related fields, or other significant credentials in experience and knowledge. Fluent in English is necessary

• Familiar and comfortable with modern web software development principles, practices and frameworks (specifically MACH / Microservices architecture)
• Deep understanding in: Next.js, NodeJS, TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines (Github actions), GraphQL, Git, Web performance, REST APIs, OPEN APIs standards
• Familiarity that are nice to have: Kubernetes, cloud services management, serverless, CMS Systems (ContentStack), Commerce systems (commercetools)

• 5 years experience in the field of web development (overall) and > 2 years experience in architecture related areas
