• Engineer & Own Security Tools
• Build, deploy, and maintain core systems, from IDS and SIEM to WAF, SEG, MDM, and beyond.
• Lead by Example
• Act as a technical leader, guiding and supporting junior engineers while delivering projects end-to-end.
• Cross-Team Collaboration
• Partner with teams across the business to embed robust security practices from design to delivery.
• Incident Response & Problem Solving
• Be a key part of the security escalation and on-call support rotation - owning investigations when it counts.
• Drive Automation & Process Maturity
• Identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve workflows, and bring consistency through automation.
• Document, Share, Evolve
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing across the team.

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, ideally in online, enterprise or hybrid environments.
• Deep knowledge of security tech stacks: IDS, vulnerability management, IAM, SIEM, WAF, SEG, MDM.
• Experience with hybrid/on-prem environments and applying security controls pragmatically based on risk.
• Hands-on scripting/coding skills - enough to automate configurations and routine ops.
• Familiarity with standards like NIST, CIS, and experience designing secure architectures.
• Bonus points for:
• AppSec or DLP exposure
• Experience with SOAR platforms
• Security certifications (e.g. CISSP-ISSEP, CCSP)
