Job description
You will work at the centre of asset data quality-collecting, cleaning, analysing, and maintaining critical engineering assurance data. You'll collaborate with technical teams, support decision-making through high-quality insights, and help build a robust foundation for future reporting and analytical capabilities., * Data Management: Gather, organise, and maintain comprehensive asset engineering assurance records.
- Data Cleanse: Cleanse and update historical data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with upcoming future-state models.
- Data Analysis: Identify discrepancies, trends, and optimisation opportunities within complex datasets.
- Reporting: Produce clear, actionable data quality reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Validation & Integrity: Support validation meetings and ensure all data meets quality standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Data & Performance Leads and wider technical teams to solve data issues and support asset management initiatives.
- Formatting & Enhancement: Improve data structures, templates, and formats to optimise usability and reporting.
- Future BI Readiness: Contribute to early work that will support future Power BI/Tableau reporting.

- Strong proficiency with Excel, including advanced formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, cleansing techniques).
- Confident using MS Word for structured documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data issues into actionable insights.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills-comfortable engaging stakeholders and presenting findings.
