As a Software Integration Engineer, you'll bring together complex software from multiple teams and partners, ensuring it runs seamlessly across our vehicles. WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Software Integration Engineer, you'll bring together complex software from multiple teams and partners, ensuring it runs seamlessly across our vehicles. - Integrate software modules from internal teams, partners and suppliers into a unified software stack for deployment across JLR vehicles
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support build, integration and testing across multiple variants and vehicle lines
- Conduct integration testing and debugging across ECUs and vehicle networks including CAN, Ethernet and LIN
- Collaborate with global software teams to resolve issues and deliver integrated releases to planned milestones
- Support vehicle-level integration and validation, working with test benches and in-vehicle environments
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with automotive embedded software, including integration or development (AUTOSAR/POSIX advantageous)
- Proficiency in debugging embedded targets using tools such as Trace32, GDB, CANOE, CANAPE or CANalyzer and knowledge of automotive diagnostics and communication protocols, including CAN, FlexRay and Ethernet
- Significant experience with Git and CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- A solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle, including quality engineering methods and tools
