Support the coordination and planning of roadworks, street works, and network activities across the borough. Assist in assessing permit applications and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Monitor network performance and help identify opportunities to improve traffic flow and minimise disruption. Liaise with contractors, utility companies, internal teams, and members of the public. Contribute to the preparation of reports, data analysis, and project documentation. Provide general administrative and technical support to the Network Management team.About You

The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Assistant Network Planning Officer to join their Highways & Transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in network management, traffic orders, or highways planning who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and forward thinking local authority., Experience working within highways, transport, network management, or a similar environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Good understanding of traffic management, street works legislation, or permit schemes (desirable).
