Job description
As our Digital Projects Manager, you will:
- Lead digital projects end-to-end, from initial discovery through to delivery and evaluation.
- Translate business needs into accessible, high-quality digital services that improve customer experience and efficiency.
- Guide discovery, user research and service design to shape clear, evidence-based requirements.
- Manage resources, budgets and timelines to deliver consistently high-standard outcomes.
- Provide clear leadership and support, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
- Build strong, productive relationships with stakeholders, partners and multidisciplinary teams., As this is a fixed-term post, secondment opportunities are welcomed for internal employees. Do you want to play a central role in modernising how our Council delivers services?
We're looking for an ambitious and motivated Digital Projects Manager to lead key digital transformation projects across the Council. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you will plan, deliver and evaluate projects that modernise services, enhance customer experience and support organisational priorities.
This post will involve leading the digital development of our Adults Front Door service - designing a seamless, user-centred customer journey that supports residents to access the help they need quickly and easily., We're seeking someone who:
- Has substantial experience delivering digital transformation projects in complex environments.
- Can confidently lead service design, user research, accessibility compliance and digital standards.
- Understands WCAG and GDS requirements and can embed these in practical delivery.
- Has experience working with people in high-demand environments and can manage relationships with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Communicates clearly, collaborates effectively and brings a positive, solutions-focused approach.
- Is motivated to make a meaningful contribution to Customer Service and Digital and deliver outstanding services for the people we serve.
