Dynamics Business Central Implementation Manager | 2 Year FTC | £85,000 - £105,000 DOE | York - Hybrid Source & Connect are proud to support this international organisation on an exclusive basis. This business is embarking on one of the largest Business Central transformation programmes in the industry - and they're looking for an experienced Business Central Implementation Consultant & Platform Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping their future. Operating across 17+ countries, this organisation has grown rapidly through acquisition. As a result, they currently operate on multiple different systems. They are now centralising all business units onto a single global ERP platform: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This is a rare opportunity to join at a critical phase of a multi-year transformation, taking ownership of the BC platform and driving standardisation, scalability, and best practice across a complex, international environment. The Role As the Business Central Implementation Consultant & Platform Manager, you will:
- Lead functional workshops to gather and analyse finance-related business requirements
- Design and configure D365 Business Central solutions to meet diverse operational needs
- Localise solutions for country-specific tax, VAT, and financial reporting requirements
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and wider teams to deliver successful implementations
- Provide training, guidance, and support to end users and finance teams
- Identify gaps, propose improvements, and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all solutions align with financial best practices, legislation, and audit requirements across the UK and EU Essential Skills & Experience
Requirements

Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV finance implementations

Strong understanding of core finance processes: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, budgeting, cash flow forecasting

Experience with multi-currency, intercompany transactions, and country-specific VAT & tax rules

Knowledge of UK and European statutory reporting and compliance

Excellent documentation, communication, and end-user training skills

Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities Desirable Skills

Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)

Familiarity with legacy NAV systems

Exposure to project management or Agile delivery

Accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent finance background Personal Attributes
