Job description
As the Business Central Implementation Consultant & Platform Manager, you will:
- Lead functional workshops to gather and analyse finance-related business requirements
- Design and configure D365 Business Central solutions to meet diverse operational needs
- Localise solutions for country-specific tax, VAT, and financial reporting requirements
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and wider teams to deliver successful implementations
- Provide training, guidance, and support to end users and finance teams
- Identify gaps, propose improvements, and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all solutions align with financial best practices, legislation, and audit requirements across the UK and EU
Requirements

Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV finance implementations

Strong understanding of core finance processes: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, budgeting, cash flow forecasting

Experience with multi-currency, intercompany transactions, and country-specific VAT & tax rules

Knowledge of UK and European statutory reporting and compliance

Excellent documentation, communication, and end-user training skills

Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities

Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)

Familiarity with legacy NAV systems

Exposure to project management or Agile delivery

Accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent finance background

Detail-oriented, structured, and analytical

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
