Job description
As Change Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating business, cultural, and operational change activities across complex delivery environments. Operating within a trusted delivery partnership model, you will bridge the gap between delivery teams, technical functions, and frontline users - ensuring change is delivered with stakeholders, not to them.
You will:
- Develop and maintain an overarching Change Management Strategy aligned to programme roadmaps and transformation goals.
- Lead joint discovery workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to understand needs, risks, and the broader impact of change.
- Manage the Benefits Backlog, triaging change requests based on user impact, policy alignment, and technical considerations.
- Design and deliver tailored engagement and communication strategies for diverse stakeholder groups.
- Facilitate empathy mapping, co-design workshops, and persona-driven analysis to shape user-centric change interventions.
- Produce integrated change and transition plans across services, people, and processes in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Work closely with PMO, Enterprise Architects, and Service Designers to ensure alignment with delivery milestones and architectural governance.
- Track organisation-wide readiness, including skills assessments and adoption reviews.
- Support capability uplift through pairing, mentoring and knowledge transfer into BAU teams.
- Contribute to onboarding and induction materials to ensure new users and teams are change-ready from day one.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience leading large-scale organisational change.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, with experience in politically sensitive or complex environments.
- Ability to develop and deliver communication, engagement, and change plans with a strong user-centric, co-design focus.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft 365 (including Copilot) and other modern delivery/collaboration tools.
- Experience delivering transformation in regulated, multi-supplier environments with shared delivery accountability.
- Previous experience working with Central Government or Defence
- SC Security clearance (note all candidates MUST be SC Eligible)
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive permanent salary and benefits package.
- Hybrid working model.
- Supportive, inclusive culture.
- Exposure to high-profile clients and career-defining transformation programmes.
