Job description
Undertaking enrolment and management procedures for programmes at the Open University for Seniors (UOM)
-
Providing face-to-face and telephone assistance to solve queries and provide information about other UOM programmes
-
Preparing teaching certificates at the request of lecturers on UOM programmes
-
Keeping lecturers informed of their timetables and the start/end dates for their courses
-
Managing and preparing 'training capsules' at the UOM
-
Managing the UOM's Erasmus+ programme
-
Preparing student satisfaction reports with regard to subjects/courses
-
Managing academic and admin incidents

Implementing the UOMentor Programme, Candidates who hold the qualification corresponding to the required category in the job offer with a non-EU degree, if selected, must present a certificate of equivalence of their non-EU qualification to a European qualification, or proof of having applied for this equivalence, in order to proceed with their hiring. In accordance with article 8 of the REGULATORY AGREEMENT 145140 of 15th June 2022 that approves the regulation governing the recruitment of research staff under chapter 6 allocation of the university budget, as well as technical or operational research staff.
Selection comitee
i. The relevant Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research (or person s/he delegates), as chair. ii. The management team for the relevant department. iii. The members of the Research Area Assessment Committee (CARAI). iv. Three experts in the field pertaining to recruitment, where appropriate, appointed by the chair of the committee, having heard from the management team of the department. v. The head of the Management Office for the Research Promotion and Human Resources Programme (or person s/he delegates), acting as secretary, who may speak but not vote. Additional comments

Requirements
Bachelor Degree or equivalent, A Degree in Social Work. Specific Requirements
The successful candidate must have training in:

Interventions in bullying, gender-based and psychosocial vulnerability scenarios
-
Gender equality and social services
-
Interventions in inequality scenarios due to gender and age
-
Comprehensive care for vulnerable groups with an inclusive approach adapted to each individual's needs
-
Admin procedures and current regulations, including data protection and documentation protocols
-
Project management and the foundations of Agile methodologies
-
Problem-solving in professional and academic settings
-
Office suite tools.
Language requeriments:
C1 level in Catalan is required
Prior experience:
The successful candidate must have experience in:

Working with vulnerable groups and providing career and educational guidance
-
Planning workshops and training activities
-
Mediation and conflict management in social settings
-
Managing university programmes for seniors
-
Internationalisation processes on university programmes for seniors.
Research Field Other
